My Story

In 2020 aged just 24, I lost my sister and was plunged into a life I never anticipated, one defined by grief.

What followed was a period of deep trauma and profound imbalance: my nervous system stayed locked in survival mode and both my mental and physical health were deeply challenged.

At the time I didn’t yet have the awareness or capacity to truly connect with or understand my body. I lived almost entirely in a state of doing and pushing forward, disconnected from my feminine energy and unaware of how to soften, listen, and work with my body rather than against it. I felt exhausted yet wired, disconnected and overwhelmed, lost and hopeless, barely recognising myself.

My body never felt like a safe place.

Over time, unresolved grief and living with PTSD, GAD, and prolonged chronic stress began to manifest physically in my body, eventually showing up as what I now understand to be PMDD.

Living with PMDD led to years of hopelessness, misdiagnoses, countless specialist appointments and medications that only masked my symptoms. After reaching rock bottom in May 2024, I became determined to find a way out and a way back to myself.

I knew it was time to take a different approach.

I turned to holistic care, seeking guidance from functional practitioners and somatic healers. That choice became a true turning point in my healing journey.

After learning about PMDD, working with experts and healing through it, I began to understand just how much the mind and body need to be supported together, and how essential it is to approach health through the lens of the nervous system.

I became fascinated by how emotions can manifest as physical symptoms in the body, and I wanted to learn more. Having always been drawn to functional medicine and integrative health, I knew it was the right moment to begin studying and fully immerse myself in the practice.

What began as a personal quest for healing soon grew into something much greater.

I immersed myself in the study and practice of integrative health, somatic healing, and nervous system regulation. With each new layer of understanding and knowledge, something became clear: healing doesn’t happen in isolation, the body does not separate emotional pain from physical symptoms; it holds everything. Stress, grief, and trauma don’t simply pass through us; they shape how our systems function.

This is when my curiosity deepened, and I began asking myself new questions:

How can I truly support my body moving forward?

And as a woman, how can I care for myself in a world that often feels so structured and disconnected from the body’s natural rhythms?

When I looked around, I couldn’t find what I truly needed. Nothing supported both the body and mind in harmony, and nothing focused on restoration and regulation rather than constant stimulation. Wellness felt trend-driven, fragmented and disconnected from real, lived experience.

So, I decided to use my knowledge and lived experience to create what I couldn’t find.

Vhyne was born from the belief that true nourishment should restore, not overwhelm. That resilience is built gently, through daily support. And that the body needs consistency, intention and care in order to truly thrive.

VitaResiliance, Vhyne’s foundational blend, embodies my journey.

Every ingredient has been carefully selected with deep intention, working in synergy to support the body’s natural processes. For me, Vhyne is a daily ritual, a way to ground myself in the present and connect with my body so I can feel supported, balanced and nourished both physically and mentally.

Vhyne is more than just a functional drink; it’s a daily act of care, a system of support and a reminder that true healing is possible when the mind and body are cared for in harmony.

The silent ‘H’ in Vhyne honours my sister Harriet, a reminder of the heart behind everything we do. Thank you for being a part of this journey.
